The north London club appeared to be on the verge of sealing a big-money move for the young German in the final hours on transfer deadline day last month, only for the move to fall through at the very last minute when the Bundesliga side suddenly raised their asking price to a whopping £37m, but the Gunners are still set to reignite their interest in the playmaker this summer according to ESPN.
