Miroslav Klose – Arsenal
The German international may be the wrong side of 30 (by a long way!) but his goalscoring record more than stands up for itself should the Gunners decide to push through with a move.
Since joining Lazio in 2011 he has gone on to score an astounding 36 goals in 87 appearances, and doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon.
With Arsenal lacking a true out-and-out goalscorer a deal to bring the 35-year-old on board could go a long way to helping their title challenge. He would offer them something that they don’t already have and would be available for a minimal fee.
He had recently been linked with a move to the MLS, with many claiming that one final payday was in the offing, but as he continues to show, he is more than able to perform to the highest level in one of Europe’s top leagues.
Any move would be a short term agreement, no doubt, but his experience and ability to fully utilise the creative power’s of the club’s midfield would certainly keep him amongst the goals and Arsenal amongst the pack.

Kim Kallstrom – Spartak Moscow
Another player who would likely join on a short term deal in the wake of the stalling Draxler deal, the Swedish international has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, and it’s high time he came on over.
At 31, he’s another veteran, but flanked by several youngsters his experience would be crucial in the closing weeks of the campaign. Since his time with Lyon he has been a Champions League regular and has several title to his name already, as well as over 100 caps for his country.
His Champions League know how will come in handy in February, and with the current crop of injury’s crippling their engine room, his presence will be most welcomed.
He still has that peach of a shot and would be invaluable from set piece situations. Always one to chip in with his fair share of goals there is no doubt that he’d play a major part in the side’s title push.
However, like Klose, the move would most likely be a short one, but for what both he and the club would gain during that period it would almost certainly be beneficial for the move to go ahead.
