Jorginho set to join Napoli, despite links with Premier League pair.

Former Arsenal and Liverpool target Jorginho is set to complete a January move to Napoli after arriving in Naples to undergo a medical.
The midfielder, who has been linked with the Premier League duo in the past, is expected to join Napoli in €5.5m co-ownership agreement from Verona.
Rafa Benitez’s side will be able to buy the Brazilian-Italian player outright for €5m at the end of the season, reports Football Italia.
“Jorginho is here, but we still have to finalise the contract. It takes a little time. It could well mean he won’t be announced officially today,” noted Rafa Benitez in his Press conference.
“He would be an important signing for the present and above all the future, because he is young, Italian and available for Europe.
“All the players who arrive in the transfer window will raise the level of the squad and the intensity during training, so that can only be good for the match situation.”
The 22-year-old has spent this season playing as a central midfielder for Hellas Verona, where he has impressed, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in 18 starts.
Napoli have been in the hunt for a central midfielder this month, and have been linked with Tottenham’s Etienne Capoue and Chelsea’s Michael Essien.
