South American star has netted an incredible 20 league goals already so far in this campaign in just 14 matches.
La Liga giants Real Madrid have withdrawn their long-running interest in brilliant Liverpool front man Luis Suarez with the Spanish club now no longer able to afford the Uruguayan attacker.

Los Blancos have been keeping close tabs on Suarez ever since the end of the previous campaign when with the striker, in the midst of serving a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, made public his desire to quit the Reds and join Madrid instead.
However, with Madrid at that point busy trying to finalise their own big-money deal for Tottenham Hotspur wide man Gareth Bale, that mooted transfer never took place, with Suarez instead forced to remain on Merseyside by the club’s American owners the Fenway Sports Group and honour his long-term contract with Liverpool.
At the time, though, most expected Madrid to follow up their longstanding interest in the mercurial Uruguay international as soon as the January transfer window reopened again across the Continent, especially with Suarez not cup tied in Europe this campaign and so eligible to play for the Spaniards in the Uefa Champions League later this year.
Meanwhile, no one also thought that Brendan Rodgers’s inexperienced outfit would be challenging near the top of the Premier League either, but a lot has changed since the start of the season though both at Anfield and in the Spanish capital too.
For one thing, Suarez recently agreed to put pen to paper on a new bumper four-year contract that now ties the South American to the Reds until June 2018, while that deal also contains a reported buyout clause worth a staggering £120m, way more than than the 100m euros that Madrid paid Tottenham last summer to make Bale the world’s most expensive player.
And the 26-year-old attacker is also said to be happy with life on Merseyside, with Suarez seeing both himself, and perhaps more importantly now the team too, progressing under Rodgers’s astute leadership as the club look set to challenge for the title this season.
All of which means that Madrid have no chance whatsoever of being able to raise the necessary funds that would be needed in order to lure Suarez to Spain this month, even if the marksman himself were to start agitating for such a move to happen.
But that does not mean that los Blancos will not return for Suarez in the summer though if Liverpool do fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
