Ntep has been a regular feature on his club’s scoresheet so far this season in Ligue 2, and his good form has earned him a regular spot in the France under-21 national side, where he has also been scoring freely.
As a result of his goalscoring exploits, he has been courted by a number of top clubs, both at home and overseas, with the likes of Marseille, Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain, Rennes, Lille, Saint-Etienne and Roma all checking on his progress.
However, it is Arsenal who are said to be at the front of the line, with a €6m offer lined up to bring him on board at the Emirates.
Roma are also strongly interested, and are looking to make a pounce of their own, but Arsene Wenger will seek to push through the deal in order to get his future secured before the Serie A side can do anything about it.
Reports also claim that Wenger would be willing to sign the player in the new year and loan him back to Auxerre until the end of the season.
