Old Trafford side target Preston teenager.
Man United are reportedly leading the chase to sign Preston midfielder Josh Brownhill according to talkSPORT.
The highly rated midfielder, who turns 18 today, has impressed since breaking into the Deepdale first team set-up and has been dubbed the ‘New Aaron Ramsey’ following quality displays this term which have led to interest from Premier League sides Man City, Tottenham, Southampton and Fulham.
Brownhill was previously on Man United’s books as a schoolboy but was released and has since gone on to move to League One side Preston.
Having not as yet signed a professional contract with Preston one would imagine Man United could nab the teenager ‘on the cheap’ though manager Simon Grayson is urgently seeking to tie the youngster down to a deal.
Brownhill has made ten appearances in all competitions thus far this season, scoring two goals.
David Moyes may well be keen to plan for the future and may well see Brownhill as having the potential to make the grade at Old Trafford.
