Inter to compete for exciting Serie A youngster.
Check in to Liverpool vs West Bromwich Albion
Inter Milan could be set to join the chase with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal in the pursuit of highly-rated Hellas Verona youngster Jorginho, according to Corriere Dello Sport.
The Serie A giants, now backed by their wealthy new owner Erick Thohir, could make a number of big signings this January, and are ready to go head-to-head with the Premier League giants to land one of Italy’s best up-and-coming young players.
The 21-year-old was born in Brazil but represents Italy at Under-21 level, and has made a great start to life in Serie A this season with newly-promoted Verona, scoring five goals in just eight appearances.
A skillful attacking midfielder, Jorginho looks to have all the qualities to play for some of Europe’s top clubs, and although he has stated he is happy to continue his development with his current club for at least another season, he could be on the move at the turn of the year if he continues his impressive form.
Inter’s Serie A rivals Juventus and Fiorentina are also monitoring him, and it is clear that Jorginho will have plenty of options to choose from if he does decide to leave the club.
