Romanian striker to make a decision.
Check in to Arsenal vs Stoke City
Free agent Ciprian Marica has announced that he is ready to make a decision regarding where his future lies within the next week, Sky Sports reports.
The 27-year-old was released by Schalke at the end of last season and several English sides are said to be interested in landing his signature to boost their firepower.
He struggled for goals during two seasons in Gelsenkirchen, but is a proven frontman and boasts an enviable strike rate for his country.
He has generated quite a bit of interest over the summer months and Italian side Fiorentina had been believed to be the frontrunners to snap him up.
However, both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are believed to be keen on bringing him on board, whilst Spanish side Getafe are also vying to take him to Spain.
Marcia is carefully considering all of the options available to him and hopes he will soon be in a position to link up with new employers.
He told a press conference on Thursday: “I am in negotiations with three teams.
“I hope I will be able to tell you the name of my next team by the end of next week.”
