Tottenham have missed out on Zenit St Petersburg striker Hulk and Blackpool winger Tom Ince, Goal.com reports.
Zenit were demanding that Tottenham pay £10 million in order to be able to sign the Brazilian on a season long loan.
Spurs rejected Zenit’s demands after also being priced out of a permanent move for Hulk, who has been linked with a number of top European sides this summer, including Chelsea and AS Monaco.
Hulk had been keen to link up with former Porto boss Andre Villas-Boas but it now seems that the striker will have to remain in Russia for another season.
Ince meanwhile has rejected the chance to move to Tottenham as he wishes to stay at Blackpool with his father, Paul Ince, who is the manager at Bloomfied Road.
The winger is happy to stay playing in the Championship for one more season and he may look to move to a club in the Premier League next summer if Blackpool haven’t achieved promotion to English football’s top tier.
