Kaka- Real Madrid to Manchester United
The Brazilian was one of the best players in the world when he moved to Real Madrid in 2009 for a then world record fee. That summer, Cristano Ronaldo also moved to Real Madrid and it is fair to say that the Portuguese star has enjoyed a better time at the Santiago Bernabeu than Kaka. The Brazilian struggled with injury initially and now can’t get into the Madrid first team at all. The Spanish giants have several quality play-makers that they can choose from and although Kaka was once one of the best play-maker in the world, he hasn’t shown that form for a number of years. Madrid have tried to sell Kaka for a number of years but have never been able to.
This summer, they may not have a choice as they need to raise funds for their pursuit of Gareth Bale and Luis Suarez. Manchester United are a club who are looking to sign a quality play-maker before the transfer window closes and Real Madrid are reportedly looking to persuade the Red Devils to sign Kaka. The Brazilian would be interested in a move to Old Trafford as it would mean that he could resurrect his career at one of Europe’s top clubs. However, he will have to lower his wage demands before any deal can be completed.
