Arda Turan- Atletico Madrid to Arsenal
Turan has been a revelation for Atletico ever since he joined them in 2011. He has played a huge role in the clubs recent success and is considered one of the top play-makers in Europe at the moment. Despite enjoying his time in Spain, the Turkish play-maker is reportedly interested in moving to the Premier League and several English clubs are known to be monitoring his situation at Atletico. Turan only has one year remaining on his contract with the Spanish club, meaning he could leave next year on a free transfer. Unless he signs a new deal, Atletico may have to sell him. He has release clause in his contract of around £29 million but no club is likely to activate that as he is in the final year of his contract.
Arsenal are reportedly very interested in Turkish midfielder and could be preparing a £20 million bid for him. Arsene Wenger is desperate to bolster his side with several quality players before the transfer window closes and could make a bid for the play-maker before September 2nd. Liverpool and Tottenham are also known to be interested in Turan and could join the Gunners in bidding for the Turk.
