TMJ looks beyond the Cup Competitions
Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, the Head of Johor Football association, admitted he wasn’t counting on either of his sides to bring home Silverware this season, instead conceding he is already focussing on next season.
Honesty I don’t have high hopes for the Malaysia Cup, but I want both teams to be at their best. I am more focusing on preparing the team for the M-League next season. Whatever the result we will accept it.
We know our position, and if we win, that’s great, but I will be satisfied if we can be in the top three.
Super League side JDT have been placed in Group B alongside PKNS FC, T-Team and Felda United. While Malaysian Premier League side Johor FA will lock horns with Selengor, ATM and Sime Derby FC.
