Young attacker happy to stick with Tangerines.
Blackpool attacker Thomas Ince wants to play in the Premier League in the near future but maintains that he is delighted to still be with the Championship outfit reports The Daily Star.
The 21-year-old was given the opportunity to fulfill his top-flight dream during the summer as Premier League newcomers Cardiff City had a reported £8m bid accepted for the winger. However the former Liverpool youngster decided to reject the offer from the Welsh club to remain at Bloomfield Road with the team managed by his father.
Ince started the Championship season in fine style for the Tangerines netting the final goal as they won 3-1 away at Doncaster Roves on Saturday and although he admits to considering any further bids from the Premier League, he is fully focused on life with Blackpool.
“The Premier League will come so it is about going at the right time,” he said after Saturday’s victory.
“I wish Cardiff all the best, I went down there and listened to them but for me as a player and a person it was not the right move at the moment.
“In my dad I’ve got a great adviser behind me and if another bid comes in we’ll look at it then.
“I’ve just to got to keep working week in and week out.
“I had a long summer being away with England but to come back and see the players and fans here, and then score a goal for the club, makes me very happy.
“I’m over the moon to still be here.”
