Sochaux president Laurent Pernet has insisted that the club have received no offers for talented playmaker Ryad Boudebouz, Sky Sports reports.
The Algerian international has just one year remaining on his current deal at the Stade Auguste Bonal and has been extensively linked with a summer move to Premier League side Southampton this summer.
Reports in France have suggested that Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino is hoping to put together a deal to bring the 23-year-old to St Mary’s, but Pernet has insisted that there has been no contact as of yet.
“We had a lot of contacts but not a single concrete offer for the player,” he told French newspaper L’Equipe.
“Ryad is dreaming of playing at a great club one day, but nobody has made a move for him.”
Boudebouz has spent his entire career at the Montbeliard based club since making his debut back in 2008. Since then he has gone on make 162 appearances for the side, scoring 26 goals in the process.
He is also now an established Algerian international, winning 15 caps since his first call up in 2010. He was a part of the 2010 World Cup squad and 2013 African Cup of Nations side, and is rated by Sochaux at around £5 million.
