Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have been put on high alert over the availability of French midfielder Yann M’Vila after being told that he may be on the move again this summer, talkSPORT reports.
The 22-year-old shocked the football world in January when he joined Russian side Rubin Kazan from French side Stade Rennes for £10.5 million despite significant interest from elsewhere in Europe.
However, he has struggled to establish himself in Russia with a series of knee injuries restricting him to just five appearances. But despite that, he still remains very highly rated and both Spurs and Arsenal are still keen to do a deal to bring him to England.
They may face competition, though, as Dagestani side Anzhi Makhachkala have thrown their hat into the ring to snap him up.
The big spenders are hoping to align him next to former Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra in the centre of their midfield and could be set to rival the Premier League sides should Rubin Kazan decide to cash in on the French international.
M’Vila had spent his entire career with Rennes up until his January switch and had made just under 150 appearances for the club since making his debut in 2009.
