Chase to bring Portuguese star to Loftus Road almost complete.
Queens Park Rangers have reached an agreement to sign defender Rolando from FC Porto, according to newspaper A Bola.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp has been attempting to bring Porto defender Rolando to Loftus Road this month despite the Portuguese star having rejected the club three times already.

But it appears that 27-year-old centre-back Rolando, capped 18 times by Portugal, has agreed to join the Premier League strugglers and will move to Loftus Road if able to agree personal terms with QPR over the next 48 hours.
Redknapp has been desperate to bring in a centre-back to replace MLS-bound Ryan Nelson, who played his last game for the club in Tuesday’s 0-0 draw with Manchester City.
He failed with approaches for West Brom’s Jonas Olsson, Everton’s Sylvain Distin, Tottenham’s William Gallas and Michael Dawson and Manchester City’s Joleon Lescott but has seemingly made the breakthrough with Rolando.
Redknapp has allowed another centre-back to leave Loftus Road after Anton Ferdinand departed on loan to Bursaspor for the remainder of the season.
