Goalkeeper has several clubs interested in him.
Out of favour goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is set to end his stay at Tottenham with AC Milan and an unnamed Dutch Eredivisie side competing for his signature, according to Sky Sports.
Brazilian Gomes has been out of favour at White Hart Lane for a season-and-a-half and looks set to end his Premier League career in the January transfer window.
AC Milan are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper at the San Siro and have been linked with a £10million swoop for Newcastle United’s Dutch international Tim Krul. But 31-year-old Gomes offers a cheaper solution with the Brazilian available for transfer.
Sky Sports report that AC Milan, who have struggled in Serie A this season, face competition from a Dutch side to sign Gomes, who caught the eye of Tottenham when number one goalkeeper at PSV Eindhoven prior to moving to White Hart Lane in a £7.8million.
Gomes started the season as fourth choice goalkeeper at Tottenham behind Hugo Lloris, Brad Freidel and Carlo Cudicini, who has subsequently left the club on a free transfer to join Los Angeles Galaxy.
