Chris at Studs Up has done a fine job predicting the UK’s next top selling novel, almost certainly a winner in today’s trying economic times.
It does spin off some interesting thoughts, which is that Spurs under Levy have generally been one of, if not the, most financially well run clubs in the country and even across all of Europe. They somehow maintain a massive transfer budget without plunging into debt and without, of course, Champions League football.
But caution and logic has been thrown to the wind lately and Levy seems to just be handing Harry blank cheques if it means relegation can be staved off. Probably a good idea.
Thoughts?
