Robinho is most likely going to be the first of many big-money signings coming to Manchester City in the coming months. There’s no doubt about that. But if you’re going to show your intent as a major money player, then you have to step up to the plate and make a big splash. This Italian ace would definitely fall under that category.
Robinho has told Manchester City to make a move for AC Milan star Kaka if they want to become the best club in the world.
The Brazilian has made a bright start at Eastlands but wants boss Mark Hughes, who is backed by the mega-rich Abu Dhabi United Group, to sign his international team-mate and help City become a global force.
He told The Sun: ‘Kaka is a great player and a great person.
‘He’s so strong, intelligent and fast. Obviously I’m hoping that I can play with him here at City.
‘If Kaka or any other great player wants to come here the door is open. (Daily Mail)
Kaka has been as loyal as any footballer in the game today. Instead of bolting from his club at the end of last season when he learned AC Milan were UEFA Cup bound, Kaka pledged his services to the club during a time of need. Things have been going well for the Brazilian ace; but who’s to say Milan couldn’t use the funds if City came calling?
What would City supporters think about the club moving for Kaka in January?
