The Euro 2008 semi-finals might be upon us, but that hasn’t kept Tottenham boss Juande Ramos from making sure that his London club are well in the spotlight with the transfer window nearing the boiling point.
According to Spanish rag, Marca, the London club is prepared to throw £20m in Valencia’s direction in the hope that the club will be so kind as to send striker David Villa their way.

Villa has been fantastic so far for a Spanish side that has made it to within one game of the Euro 2008 final. While most assumed that Valencia were going to let the striker leave for a discounted rate this summer, it appears that his recent showing has again made him a hot commodity.
Are Spurs supporters excited about the prospect of having Berby and Villa up front? Do you think he could be had for £20m?
