Bolton Wanderers might have been beaten 2-0 by Manchester United in the Premiership on Wednesday but manager Gary Megson is looking at the positives that he can take from this match and employ in th next matches as his side continue to flirt with relegation to the Championship.
Megson says:
We caused our own downfall in the first half with two set-pieces. We were sloppy on the first one and one or two things happened to cause us to lose that goal.
Any team in the Premiership when a goal down you have to open up and cause yourself problems.
The second goal was genius and I don’t know how he (Cristiano Ronaldo) does that and most of our players are talking about it. It was a fantastic strike.
But no damage at all to Bolton in spite of losing to Man United. After all, Megson must have realised that Bolton are too weak to win against the Red Devils.
