Liam Brady might be happy with his rewarding job as Arsenal’s academy director but he certainly wants to do something for his nation, the Republic of Ireland.
Several weeks, Brady expressed his desire to work with Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni and now his wish has been fulfilled. It is not clear what role he will play in the Trap’s unit but it is confirmed that Brady will feature in the Trap’s plans.
Brady confirms:
The board of directors and Arsene Wenger are quite happy for me to do this and to keep my job at Arsenal.
Trapattoni needs to get to know the players and I can help him with that.
I will be with Giovanni Trapattoni and assist him in all he does.
Now this is a man who wants to do something for his nation. Not everyone is like him though and hopefully Brady will be able to weave a magic with Republic of Ireland.
