From now on Tom Hicks Jr wouldn’t step inside the Sandon public house, near Anfield. He did that after Liverpool’s 3-2 thrilling victory over Middlesbrough in the English Premier League at the weekend and reportedly ended up with a load of spit on his face.
The Liverpool director and son of the club’s American co-owner Tom Hicks decided to wave off security persuasions and drive to the pub where he was apparently out to speak to the club’s supporters about his father’s reign of the Merseyside club. But no sooner had the public in the pub realised that he was there than they were all out to get him.
So much so that a Liverpool spat at his direction and Tom Hicks jr had to dash to his car and drive off as far as he could from Sandon public house. From next time onwards, he would know better than to speak to the club’s fans about his father’s reign of the club.
