Atletico Madrid might have lost 1-0 to Bolton Wanderers in the first leg match at the Reebok Stadium on Thursday, but Atletico coach Javier Aguirre is confident that the Spanish giants can overhaul the narrow lead in the return leg at the Estadio Vicente Calderon.
The Mexican says:
Bolton play with their style and we with ours. I think the match was difficult for both of us. In Madrid, and without this typical English atmosphere, I think we will have more options.
Atletico would certainly be favourites in their own back alley. Although they wouldn’t have star Argentine striker Sergio Aguero for the return leg, the Madrid side still possess enough craft and quality in their side to ravage the Premiership strugglers.
