The January transfer market might have wrapped up its business but speculation continue unabated. Tribal Football reports that Manchester United are contemplating on a £15 million bid for FC Porto full back Bosingwa in the summer.
It is believed that Man United’s assistant manager Carlos Quieroz’s contacts with the club could help secure the deal for Man United at the end of the season. The 25-year old himself is buoyed by the fact that the Red Devils are interested in him and says:
Being linked with United is a positive thing as it means I am performing well. United are a sensational club. To play next to Cristiano Ronaldo, Anderson and Nani is such a big advantage. But until the end of the season I think only of Porto. I want to fight for the Champions League.
The transfer rumour mill rumbles on and on. But Bosingwa could be a long term replacement for Gary Neville who is supposedly on the brink of his lng and illustrious Man United career.
