Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard believes the club will only let Marouane Fellaini and Laighton Baines leave if an offer to good to turn down comes along, talkSPORT reports.

Fellaini has been linked with a move to the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, whilst Baines has also been tipped to join the Champions this summer as speculation continues to surround the pair following David Moyes’ departure this month.

However, Tim Howard, who played for United between 2003-07, doesn’t think that the club will be silly enough to let the duo leave for anything less that what he describes as ‘stupid money,’ though he has admitted that he is afraid that may happen.

“I’m worried about any of our big players leaving the club,” he said. “We’ve got a great nucleus to our squad.

“Bill Kenwright is the greatest chairman I have ever played under and he’ll do everything in his power to do what’s right for the club, and that includes keeping our best players.

“But, at the end of the day, money talks. If someone wants to come in and bid stupid money for our best players, then who are we to say no?”
