The Spurs captain has scored 15 goals this season and provided nine assists as Ange Postecoglou’s side aim to get back into the Champions League next season.

Kane left for German giants Bayern Munich last summer in the pursuit of winning trophies, having scored 280 goals for Tottenham.

The 31-year-old is now the go to man for Tottenham in terms of goalscoring and has admitted he feels the pressure.

Son has scored 15 goals this season for Spurs.

“I think everybody wants to step up, especially when Harry left the club obviously”, Son said in quotes picked up by Mail Sport.

“When he’s happy here, 30 goals is guaranteed, but who is going to make it the 30 goals for for this club?

“I do love the pressure, because when you play in in a Premier League, you have to get this pressure to improve yourself.”

The South Korea international also revealed that he was a big fan of James Maddison before the England international joined the club last summer for £40m from Leicester City.

“Before he joined Spurs I actually loved him because I liked this type of player who’s making a game with his quality.

“I think creating chances, scoring goals, make those runs, I want to make him an even better player but he has a bright bright future.”

Son joined Spurs from German side Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and has gone on to make 401 appearances and score 83 goals for the north London outfit.

The forward is yet to win a trophy with Spurs, and will be desperate to get his hands on some silverware having lost a Champions League and League Cup final with the club.
