Danish international apologizes via Twitter account.
Nicklas Bendtner was last night arrested for driving under the influence.
The Danish international, who is currently on loan at Juventus, was arrested after he was spotted driving down a main road in Copenhagen in the wrong direction.
The 25 year old Arsenal forward took to Twitter to apologise for his behaviour, though did, perhaps irresponsibly, opted to defend himself by stating that he was arrested for ‘mild drunk driving’.
Bendtner is currently injured and seems likely to be a player Arsene Wenger looks to permanently offload this summer.
