Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Calhanoglu has admitted that he would find a move to Manchester United difficult to turn down, according to the Metro.
The 21-year-old has been consistently linked with a switch to Old Trafford in the past, with Leverkusen even confessing that they would be willing to let him go for the right price (via Metro).
And the player himself has admitted that a move to United, or Spanish giants Barcelona, may prove too hard to ignore.
“Barcelona and Manchester United are huge clubs. It would be difficult to turn them down but I have not said anything about any transfers or anything of the sort,” he told Lig TV.
“I have not said anything and there is nothing to talk about but of course if Barcelona made an offer I would have to consider it.”
A known creative force and a dead ball specialist, his potential arrival would certainly fit in with Louis van Gaal’s calls for the club to play more attacking football.
