Pardew left Newcastle United this week to take up a role at Crystal Palace but is still yet to be announced as boss of the South London club, however it is more a case of paperwork than anything else.

Pardew replaces the outgoing Neil Warnock who was unable to inspire his side to any significant form and left the side in 18th place in the league.

Pardew returns to Palace, a side where he amassed over 100 appearances in four years in south London and is given the unenviable task of attempting to spare them from relegation.
