Man United hand Erik ten Hag major boost with transfer budget revealed

Manchester United have decided to keep manager Erik ten Hag at the club after uncertainty surrounding the future of the manager.

The Red Devils have shown faith in the services of the Dutch manager, who has won two trophies in his time at the club in two seasons.

The former Ajax manager has guided the club to Carabao Cup and FA Cup wins, despite his team’s poor showing in the Premier League.

Man United finished eighth in the league last season, which is their lowest finish in the competition’s history.

The Red Devils are now ready to hand Ten Hag the opportunity to perform better next season by providing him new signings to add to his squad.

Football Insider has reported that Man Utd are ready to provide a £140 million transfer budget to Ten Hag in order to bolster the team.

After the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS at the club, who now co-own the Premier League giants, they are ready to make sure that they consistently challenge for trophies and reach their former heights.

The club’s transfer budget could significantly increase, depending on their sales this summer with players like Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood expected to be sold in order to generate funds.

Man United have handed Erik ten Hag a heavy transfer budget.

Ten Hag has been backed by the club in recent transfer windows but his success in terms of signings has not been the best.

The Dutch manager has spent big money on signings like Antony, Mason Mount and Casemiro and they have failed to make a huge impact at the club.

Lisandro Martinez, who was signed by the former Ajax manager, has done well at the club and is a crucial part of the future at Old Trafford.

Man United have decided to heavily back Ten Hag again

However, Tyrell Malacia and Sofyan Amrabat are other players who have not been hugely successful since joining Man United.

The Red Devils faithful would be hoping that they can spend their money smartly in the transfer window this summer.

The club are expected to sign a new striker to replace Anthony Martial, a new defender to replace Raphael Varane and a new midfielder to add strength in the middle of the park.

  1. We need 2CBs if 1 of Lindelof or Maguire are moving on. We also need a LB as Shaw and Malacia are injury prone.
We will need 2 midfielders if Casemiro, Eriksen and Amrabat are out.
We need a CF to challenge Hojlund. Possibly a RW also.
I make that 7 players needed to challenge for honours next season.

    1. Wrong what united need is a proper manager pep cleverly let united win to let Radcliffe stuck with TenHag because pep new with TenHag there united pose no threat to their league aspirations

  2. FFP rules mean it’s hard to get funds without selling players.

It has been a result of bad signings, inflated transfer fees and not selling players before they enter thier final contracts.

We are back in transition for 2/3 years.

A reality every fan must accept.

Keeping Ten Hag was our only option. With any luck we might get a few decent young players promoted to the first team and pull in a shift.

  3. TenHag is not even championship quality, at best English third tier, which proves how far united regressed in the soccer world, no one in Europe or even Africa take them seriously anymore, man city lost on purpose to let united keep TenHag and silly Radcliffe and the old Trafford cronies fell right into their trap

  4. Wrong what united need is a proper manager pep cleverly let united win to let Radcliffe stuck with TenHag because pep new with TenHag there united pose no threat to their league aspirations

  5. Apart from a few silly decisions, Ten Hag is still a good choice for united. Between 1986 and 1990 when sir Alex Ferguson took over, we never had a good result. Patience paid, and we enjoyed the glorious days. Most of our coaches Fall victims of high expectations. Let ten hag deal the dreadful player power that has befallen our club.

  6. Since united was not sold out to a catar investor, united will still struggling in areas of finance… and that’s one thing everyone need to have in mind.

  7. The best way to rebuild team is to start from the back like Klopp or Pep did it when they came to PL. “Defense win titltes”. So we definitly need goakeeper with catching abilities and not to scared to catch the ball.with hands and which will not purposly letting goals in, clearly our current GK has betting issues. Sadly its common reality in these days. Then we nee build defence. Our only proper CB is Lisandro. Varane leaving before Maguire, Evans or Lindelof is very wrong move. All those three had to leave asap to make room for better players. We have no LB, Shaw is not good only becausr he cant play more than 50% matches cause he is probably the only one player who is injured more than dembele or varane. Malacia is young, injured and not enough. Right backs at United are joke. AWB cant pass or attack while Dalot is winger with 0 defensive abilities. For those who gonna say he was good this season, he is in our sqaud more than 5 years and 1 halfgood season is totaly below the bar if we wanna be back on top.
Same goes fo Maguire. Cant run, cant pass and terrible decision making. The only CB who has bigger g/a ration than carregher in own net.
Do with 140m budget we will need 3 summer transfer windows to just build defence. And 3 years are the time scale Sir Jim said.he expete we will fight for titles.
Impossible, they are even unable.to ger Ashworth sooner than next summer. So its just Glazers 2.0. Agree with or hate me, but mark my words. If someone expecting next season or next 5 seasons to ve better, its time to wake beacause its more possible to be worse than better
