Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is reportedly not content with this squad of players and will request a big overhaul in the transfer market if he stays at the club beyond this season.
The Italian tactician’s future looks in some doubt at the moment after the 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City at the weekend.

Chelsea managers don’t tend to get very long to put things right, but the Times claim Sarri is planning big changes to his squad if he can hold onto his job for next season.
In fairness to Sarri, it does seem like many players in this Chelsea squad are now past their peak to an extent, with upgrades surely needed on players like David Luiz, Willian and Pedro.
However, some players that have come in under Sarri also look suspect, with the likes of Jorginho and Kepa Arrizabalaga not exactly having the most convincing debut seasons in the Premier League.
Others would also argue the former Napoli boss could do more to include young players like Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ethan Ampadu and Ruben Loftus-Cheek on a more regular basis.
