Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has chosen to wear the number 7 shirt at Barcelona as various reports in Spain claim his transfer to the Nou Camp should be finalised in the next few days.
TeamTalk round up and translate the reports emerging from the Spanish press as Coutinho is expected to complete a move worth around £133million including add-ons.
They claim the Brazil international will break two records in doing so, becoming Barcelona’s club-record signing and also the most expensive January transfer of all time in La Liga.
Coutinho has worn the 10 shirt for Liverpool, but is unlikely to get the chance to take that off Lionel Messi at Barca.
However, the reports state that Arda Turan looks set to be on his way out of the club this winter, leaving the 7 shirt vacant for Coutinho to inherit.

This will be a huge blow for Reds fans if it goes through, with Coutinho once again proving a key part of how Jurgen Klopp’s stylish attacking side play this season.
The 25-year-old will certainly prove hard to replace, especially in the middle of the season, and will continue the recent trend of big names leaving Anfield in recent times.
Luis Suarez also joined Barcelona in 2014, and Raheem Sterling left for Manchester City the following summer, while in the past Javier Mascherano was snapped up by Barca, Xabi Alonso moved to Real Madrid, and Fernando Torres left for Chelsea.
