Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has reportedly informed Manchester United that he’s agreed a transfer to Barcelona in his latest round of talks with the club.
According to Diario Gol, the France international is prepared to u-turn on his agreement to move to Old Trafford, and has provided this update to United in the last few days.
Griezmann looks one of the top attacking players in Europe based on his form over the last few years, and it’s little surprise to see elite clubs battling it out for his signature.
Still, United will be bitterly disappointed as Don Balon recently claimed Griezmann had even agreed on his squad number with the Red Devils after talks with Jose Mourinho.

Nothing can be formalised yet, however, and Diario Gol now claim the player whose £88million release clause comes into effect in the summer has given his word to Barca instead.
The Catalan giants look like they could do with strengthening in attack next season after a dip in form from Luis Suarez this term.
The Uruguay international will turn 31 later this season and seems to be entering into his decline with just six goals in 19 games in all competitions so far this season.
Griezmann has not been at his prolific best either, but looks a player who still has his best years ahead of him and also like one who could benefit from playing in a more attack-minded side than his current club.
