Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero was admitted to hospital earlier today after the Argentine forward fainted during half time in his national side’s match against Nigeria.
This is according to the BBC, who state that the 29-year-old was discharged from hospital after he was sent there as a precaution.
Aguero has already been involved in a car crash so far this season as reported by the Guardian, and following this news, Man City fans may be more than worried.
So far this season, Aguero has been on fire. The former Atletico Madrid man has scored eight in eight Premier League games this season, with the player also bagging three assists in that time as well.
Aguero recently became Man City’s all-time top goalscorer, as the Argentine has now scored 179 goals for the Citizens, two more than legend Eric Brook.

The player’s lethal finishing ability and eye for goal has seen him touted as one of the greatest strikers in the world, and under Pep Guardiola, the player looks better than he’s ever done.
Should Aguero be fit and fighting after this apparent setback, it’ll come as a big boost for City, who would’ve hated to see their star forward out injured.
