Adam Lallana is unlikely to return to first-team action until mid-November at the earliest and will miss England’s next set of friendlies as the Liverpool midfielder continues to be sidelined.
The Mirror have reported that Lallana’s thigh injury will see him miss England’s November friendlies against Brazil and Germany with him returning to Premier League action before the end of November at the absolute earliest.

The 29-year-old picked up a hamstring injury over the summer and has since been working within an intense rehabilitation regime to return to action.
The midfielder’s creativity and energy has certainly been a miss for both club and country in recent weeks. Liverpool were held to a 0-0 draw at Anfield against Man United this weekend and were only able to create a limited number of clear-cut chances without Lallana.
Further, England have been the subject of some ruthless criticism following two lackluster displays in their last two World Cup qualifiers. Lallana’s dynamic running and movement has been a big miss for England and he is sure to be an integral part of Gareth Southgate’s plans at next year’s World Cup.
The England star has scored 29 goals and assisted 27 in his 156 Premier League appearances and will be looking to increase these numbers as soon as he is fit enough to return to action.
