Kieran Gibbs doesn’t score very often for an attacking left-back.
The Arsenal defender has scored just six goals in 207 senior outings for the Gunners.
But he found the net in training today as Arsene Wenger’s continued their preseason preparations with a training game in the USA.
Gibbs scored after a solo run and shot.
It was a counter-attacking goal which was sparked when Jack Wilshere took a bad first touch, allowing Petr Cech to regain possession for Gibbs’ team.
Wilshere was far from match-sharp at Euro 2016 and, although this piece of evidence is inconclusive on it’s own, this suggests that the midfielder is still rather rusty.
