Jose Mourinho shared a video of him arriving in Manchester on Sunday night as he prepares to get to work at Manchester United this summer.
The Portuguese tactician’s first official day in his new job is on Monday, as he arrived shortly after midnight at Manchester Piccadilly station ahead of plotting a way to get United back to the top of English football.
While his first press conference as United boss will take place on Tuesday, he has already been busy in the transfer market with both Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic being officially confirmed as new summer signings.
With more new faces likely to be on the way as he continues to look at ways to strengthen his current squad, the former Chelsea boss seemingly has plenty to do at Carrington this summer.
Nevertheless, he will be expected to be relishing the opportunity after being sacked by Chelsea last December, and it promises to be a highly competitive year in the Premier League with several top managers joining the league.
With the likes of Arsene Wenger, Mauricio Pochettino, Claudio Ranieri and Jurgen Klopp already involved, the introduction of Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte with new clubs will add further spice to the mix.
As a result, Mourinho is unlikely to waste any time this week as he begins pre-season preparations and sets out his vision and plans for both the immediate and long-term future at Old Trafford.
