Liverpool new boy Joel Matip has completed his move to Anfield, and has revealed which number he will wear for the Reds next season.
The Cameroon international will continue to wear the No.32 shirt, as he did at former club Schalke, as he now looks forward to a long and successful career on Merseyside.
The 24-year-old was officially announced as a Liverpool player on Friday, following the expiration of his contract with the Bundesliga outfit.
In turn, he will now form an important part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans moving forward, with the German tactician overseeing somewhat of an overhaul this summer.
Matip’s choice does of course mean that Cameron Brannagan will have to pick out a new number, and it is reported that he’ll wear the No.25 next season.
Meanwhile, the club also revealed their new training kit with sponsors BetVictor, as the changes continue to roll in ahead of Klopp’s first full campaign in charge of the Premier League giants.
