Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey completed a remarkable double triumph on Monday when he was presented with his Danish Super League winner’s medal.
The Ghana international returned to Copenhagen to join up with his former FC Kobenhavn teammates in order to receive his gold medal and celebrate with the club’s fans.

The 21-year-old’s return to Denmark was recognised on the club’s official Twitter handle, along with a clip of the youngster wearing the scarf of his former club and embracing the Kobenhavn fans.
Ex-Djurgardens powerhouse Amartey made 15 league appearances for the Danish champions before leaving the club.
He moved to Leicester in the January transfer window, and proceeded to make five appearances—of which only one was a start—as the Foxes clinched an unlikely Premier League title.

While his role may have been peripheral over the last few months, expect Amartey to have a much bigger role for Claudio Ranieri’s side moving forward.
