Everton super-striker Romelu Lukaku has made a decision on his football future amidst interest from world-class clubs Chelsea, Man United and others. However, the Belgian scoring machine isn’t telling anyone just yet.
In an interview with DH [per the Metro], Lukaku revealed that he had already made a decision as to where he intends to play – but added that the idea is in his head. He stated that he is considering another Premier League club like Chelsea, but has also been intrigued by other clubs who have been making offers.
‘I keep it for me. A lot of clubs are interested, some of which are already very concrete for 5 years,’ Lukaku said.
‘In my head, I have already made a decision, we’ll see.
‘It’s true that the English competition suits me perfectly, but there are plenty of other beautiful clubs.’
The 23-year-old Lukaku scored 18 Premier League goals in 37 appearances – fourth in the league behind Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and Sergio Aguero. Unfortunately, despite finishing with the seventh most teams goals in the league, Everton’s 55 goals allowed (6th most allowed) resulted in an 11th-place finish and the firing of manager Roberto Martinez.
Everton are expected to lose Lukaku this summer with a variety of Premier League and other European clubs making offers for the young striker.
