Video: Ex-Tottenham striker forced to shave head as Leicester pip Spurs to title

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker and Egypt international Mido has had his head shaved on live television after Leicester City won the Premier League.

The ex-Ajax and Olympique de Marseille hitman made a bet last month that Spurs would pip Leicester to the title and that the Foxes would capitulate during the run-in.

Instead, Mauricio Pochettino’s young Lilywhites side—chasing their first English title since 1961—fell apart against Chelsea, meaning that the Foxes clinched the title with two games to spare.

Tottenham could have kept the pressure on Claudio Ranieri’s side had they beaten their fierce London rivals on Monday, but despite taking a two-goal lead through Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, goals from Gary Cahill and Eden Hazard took the title to the King Power Stadium.

Mido, having lost his bet, duly had his head shaved in the beIN Sport studios in the aftermath of Leicester’s emotional title success.
