Manchester City and Real Madrid old boy Robinho has confirmed that he will supporting the Sky Blues over Los Merengues in the Champions League semi-final.
The pair were drawn together in the final four after winning their respective quarter-finals this week, and will go head to head in a tantalising double-header on April 26 and May 4.
The Citizens are featuring in the semis for the first time after seeing off Paris Saint-Germain after drawing 2-2 in the first leg before winning 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
Real appeared dead and buried after losing the first leg of their quarter-final 2-0 at Wolfsburg, but responded with a Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick at the Bernabeu to advance to the final four.
Robinho, who moved from Real Madrid to Manchester City in 2008 has revealed who he’ll be backing in the semis and—surprisingly, as he made over twice as many league showings in the Spanish capital—has revealed that he’s backing the Sky Blues.
