Chelsea are prepared to make an offer to bring AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan to Stamford Bridge, and have held talks with the Italian heavyweights.
According to Goal, the Blues met with a delegation from the Serie A giants at Stamford Bridge, and the Pensioners are ready to offer an eye-watering €35 million plus add-ons to buy the Belgium international.
The delegation—which consisted of agent Ramy Abbas and Roma’s director of football Walter Sabatini—is understood to have come to London with the aim of discussing the prospect of both Nainggolan and Greek centre-back Kostas Manolas moving to England, while Mohamed Salah’s future has also been up for discussion.
Salah had his injury and suspension concerns earlier in the campaign, but the forward has shone latterly, bagging 11 goals in 27 top flight outings.
The tenacious Nainggolan has been a key figure at Roma as the Giallorossi have enjoyed a superb run of form under new coach Luciano Spalletti.
