According to reports, Arsene Wenger and Arsenal are understood to be considering a move for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata again.
The Telegraph report that Wenger has revived his interest in the Spanish hitman, and is also considering a move for AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas.
As noted by the broadsheet, the Gunners were keen on both players two seasons ago, and even attempted to sign them, but while they failed on that attempt, they are planning to renew their interest this season.
23-year-old Morata shone last season as Juventus reached the Champions League final, and while he scored in that match, he was unable to help the Old Lady of Italian football avoid a one-sided defeat at the hands of Barcelona.
Morata has had to compete with Juve new boy Mario Mandzukic for game times this season, and his goalscoring has suffered as a result. While the forward managed eight goals in 29 league showings last season, of which 11 were starts, he has scored only six in the same number of outings this term, of which 14 have been starts.
Manolas has been a key figure in a Roma side that have enjoyed a magnificent revival under Luciano Spalletti in recent months, and the Greek international has made 30 showings this term.
