Despite being a talented and promising prospect in the Man United academy, Adnan Januzaj has been hampered by everything from poor play to injuries since a strong debut under David Moyes several years ago. Now the Belgian winger will have to deal with even more setbacks after suffering another hamstring injury.
According to the Metro, Januzaj missed this past weekend’s Under-21 match against Chelsea after sustaining another hamstring injury. He had previously missed time due to a similar injury in February during a win over Norwich City.
Januzaj was given a season-long loan spell with Borussia Dortmund after a promising summer, but was recalled in January after making just three starts for the German giants. Since making his return to Man United he has played just 14 minutes of football, most recently in a 3-2 win against Arsenal.
Under Moyes in the 2013-14 season, a teenage Januzaj made 35 appearances and scored four goals.
