There’s something to be said for Aston Villa’s talent level when they find themselves down 2-0 at the half – not against Chelsea‘s A-team or even their B-team, but against what can be best described as their C-team. With Diego Costa, Gary Cahill, John Terry, Willian and Eden Hazard not even on the bench today, the door was swung open for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Matt Miazga and most notably Brazilian legend Alexandre Pato to fill the void.
Speaking of Pato, the former Golden Boy made the most of his Chelsea debut by scoring his first ever Premier League goal on a penalty kick just minutes after being subbed in for Loic Remy.
Naturally, social media started buzzing immediately after seeing Pato make such a successful debut:

Ironically, Loftus-Cheek and Pato – both of whom scored their first-ever PRemier LEague goals today – now have more goals this season than reigning league MVP Eden Hazard.
