Man United and Arsenal may have called dibs on PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich won’t let him go anywhere without getting a word in first.
According to the Metro, Chelsea have entered the race for the PSG megastar, joining their rivals from Old Trafford and the Emirates in the process. Zlatan stated yesterday that this will be his last season with the French giants (unless the Eiffel Tower gets replaced with a statue of him) and he will leave once his contract expires.
The Swedish striker has by no means seen any drop off in production despite his age (34), and he already has a three-year high in goals scored in Ligue 1 with 27. Over the last four seasons with PSG, Zlatan has 102 Ligue 1 goals and 141 goals in all competitions.
It remains to be seen though who will be the manager of Chelsea for the 2016-17 season.
Per the source, clubs in the high-spending Chinese Super League and the MLS are interested in bringing Zlatan into the fold as well.
