Everyone wants to be Luis Suarez, but you should never go FULL Luis Suarez if it means biting another player and getting a match ban – one that might have Chelsea forward Diego Costa out of action for the foreseeable future and beyond. During a 2-0 loss to Everton in the FA Cup, Costa was seen barring his teeth at a Toffees player before placing them on his neck and earning a red card.
Fans and foes alike of Diego Costa were quick to express their disgust in the 26-year-old striker’s actions – especially with a key stretch of games for Chelsea coming up that may determine if the Blues can clinch a spot in European competition next year.
Diego Costa is disgusting, disgrace to the game just like Suarez… smh.. embarrassing to be a @ChelseaFC fan rn.

The incident was of course reminiscent of a similar biting incident by Uruguay and Barcelona striker Luis Suarez in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, a penalty that earned him a whopping four-month ban by FIFA.
I call it the Luis Suarez hat trick: 1 spitting at referee, 1 biting another player, 1 red card. Congrats to Diego Costa! — John Gramlich (@johngramlich) March 12, 2016

Earlier in the match, Costa was seen spitting in the direction of a referee who gave him a yellow card – though he was not additionally penalized for that incident. It remains to be seen if Costa, who has already been suspended earlier this year, will receive a regular suspension or something a little more strict.
Diego Costa really is a c**t. Try defend him now Chelsea fans.
