FC Porto midfielder Giannelli Imbula could finally be set to complete a move to England, with Southampton understood to be keen on the 23-year-old.
Imbula left Marseille in the summer when he signed for FC Porto for €25 million, having previously been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League.
London trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur were all understood to be keen on the tenacious midfielder, but ultimately missed out as he secured a switch to Porto.
However, Imbula has struggled to impress in the Portuguese top flight—as Porto trail rivals Sporting Lisbon in the standings—and could finally be set to move to England.
According to the Daily Mirror [via Le 10 Sport], the Franco-Congolese star is wanted at Southampton, as Ronald Koeman looks to improve his options in the heart of the park.
